RESIDENTIAL & BUSINESS WAH VACATION GUIDELINES
JANUARY 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009

1.The vacation book will be routed by seniority.
2.WFM will contact each agent separately based on the bid schedule and work thru the vacation selection. WFM will enter requests in eWFM real time. When done WFM will then send an email to each agent confirming vacation selection. Agents will also get an automatic email from eWFM notification server. When the agent receives the automatic email from eWFM notification server, the agent will confirm that the email is what they selected.
3.40 hours will be added to the allowance for the first two routings for full week vacation selection. 16 more hours will be added for the third and fourth routing.
4.Business WAH – same as Residential
5.During the first two routings a single day cannot block a full week selection.
6.On the first routing a maximum of two full weeks can be selected during May 1st and September 30th.
7.Since tours are now routed several times per year, if your tour changes and the new tour will now give you a work day in the middle of your days off that day will be changed to a vacation day.
EX: My tour is M T W TH SA
I selected TH and SA as vacation days:
My new tour is M T W F SA
I will still have TH F SA SU off.
8. At the request of the agent when they select a full week vacation, their schedule can be adjusted to show nine consecutive days off, as a M- F tour.
9. Vacation selection will start on Oct 1st and must be completed by Dec 1st.
10. On the day the agent has been scheduled to select their time off, the agent must be prepared with their vacation selections. This pertains to every round. If you will be on vacation or off you must provide a phone number so WFM can contact you.
11. After the book is closed, time off will be selected on a first come basis.


A. First Routing

1. Only full weeks may be selected during this period.
2. Max of two weeks selected during May 1 and Sept 30



B. Second Routing

1. Only full weeks will be selected during this period with no restrictions during
May 1 and Sept. 30



C. At the conclusion of the second routing the book will be closed
for two(2) weeks. During this time if a rep wants to give a week
back they can. WFM will then put that week back in for
selection. Any week selected during the first or second
routing can not be broken up into single days.



D. Third Routing

1. Only 5 of any agents remaining days may be selected during this round. These 5 days can be taken as a full week, split week or any single days. This can be used as Vacation, Floating Holiday or Excused Time.




E. Fourth Routing

1. All remaining time can be selected any way the agent chooses.
